Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Encarnação A Carmelite sanctuary. The interior has a single nave covered by a painted arched roof, and includes seventeenth century polychrome azulejo tiles and a set of mid seventeenth century paintings. The building is fronted by monumental steps dating from the latter half of the eighteenth century. The church was constructed at the end of the sixteenth century. The Sanctuary houses a collection of ex-votos and simple paintings which recount various miracles which are attributed to the Virgin Mary.

The religious festivities are held on July 11 and August 15.
