The “Montado Hotel & Golf Resort" had opened in May 2009 located on Portugal’s Costa Azul Algeruz (Palmela), near the Castle of Palmela, surrounded by vineyards that leads the production of the famous wine region of Palmela / Setúbal (City of the wine in 2009), developed in a harmonious whole of Cork Trees, where streams and lakes makes the magical beauty of this Resort, the Golf Course is carefully inserted in a landscape that helps to break the daily life routine, well known for its hole 18 and green located on an island. It is just 30 minutes south of Lisbon, one of Europe’s most stylish and historic capitals, less than 3 hours flight from major European capitals.

In operation since 1992, the golf course of Montado needed an impulse that could put again in a prominent place that belongs. Was then initiated a work of remodeling in 2005 by already well-known Arq. Jorge Santana da Silva, in which the whole layout has been redesigned by creating new Tees and Greens that require some consideration when choosing the right putt before the next putting ... highlight the hole 18 where it plays for a green located on an island.
