Manta Diving Center
Activities
The Manta Diving Center is the only base in the underwater national park of Madeira, which is located in Canico de Baixo, directly on the bathing resort of the Galo Resort Hotels. The diving center can be easily reached with an elevator and offers the possibility for snorkelling, diving certification and equipment rental to individual diving excursions. The water temperature is approximately 18º C in the Winter and with a visibility up to 30 meters. The Manta Diving Center was nominated the best diving center in the entire Atlantic in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005 by the readers of the magazien „Tauchen“- diving.
