With its 10 strong fleet of Land Rover jeeps recently renewed, 75 bicycles (both mountain and road bikes), 10 canoes, a boat with a 150-strong passenger capacity, Riosul focuses on promoting a different facet of Portugal.

While activities are held nationwide, the company has particular experience of holding events along the Guadiana River and in the Algarve and hills of Alentejo. Ever since 1986, Riosul, Viagens e Turismo, Ldª. has provided its contribution to a pioneering project that seeks to organise environmental and adventure tours (in both four-wheel drive vehicles and by boat) to the Guadiana River and the inland Algarve region.
The product and service is not only different but also represents a clear alternative to the sun and beach package with which the Algarve has traditionally been connected.
