The Tâmega Eco Route connects Chaves and Verín, all along the riverside, forming the Cross-Border Ecological Corridor.

This smooth, almost flat route can be travelled on foot or by bicycle, enjoying the contact with nature.

Associated with this route, three ideal birdwatching trails have been created: the Tamaguelos-Mourazos, Raia and Lagoas de Chaves Birdwatching Routes.
