Pico Sport, a maritime-tourism company founded in 1997, now part of Naturalist - Science and Tourism, has developed over the years a significant operation in promoting the natural heritage of the Azores. With this integration, the activity now benefits from the scientific know-how of Naturalist.pt, its teams of research biologists, and collaboration with the University of the Azores and the University of Lisbon, strengthening the commitment to evidence-based practices, monitoring of marine ecosystems, and animal protection, in accordance with the highest ethical and operational standards
