At the mouth of the Arade River, the Portimão Marina Beach is a small sandy beach, separated from Rocha Beach (Praia da Rocha) by the western pier of the river bar, which can be accessed via the pedestrian and cycling pathway that runs through the Marina, where there is a wide variety of shops, support services and water sports.
This bathing area with good support infrastructures is bathed by calm waters and has excellent accessibility conditions for people with reduced mobility.
