Located between the villages of Hombres and Laborins, in the municipality of Penacova, the Cornicovo River Beach has a bathing area made possible by a small dam that retains the waters of the Alva River, one of the tributaries of the Mondego River.
With both sandy and grassy areas, this leisure area is beautifully landscaped and good amenities, including a picnic area and an ample parking area.
The Cornicovo River Beach is one of the points along the PR 6 - "Rota do Pão (Bread Route), a trail about 17 km long that leads to the discovery of the essence and rural nature of this area.
