Campo Maior Castle
There are several surviving vestiges of Campo Maior Castle, dating from the mediaeval era, including wall sections and the north tower with large boulders. The remnants of the 17th-century fortified wall, adapted by Nicolau de Langres, include bulwarks, doorways, the barracks and bridge protections. Other notable features include the Manueline style decoration of the Western Tower.
