Map of the city of Lisbon's contemporary art is now available
Visitors to Lisbon can now consult a map of the city's contemporary art. Available online and in print format, the map will help visitors plan their sightseeing.
Practical and easy to use, the art map presents around a hundred museums, galleries and other spaces that regularly conduct activities in the field of contemporary art. The aim is to make contemporary art more accessible to a wide range of audiences, fostering knowledge and greater critical spirit in a city that is increasingly cosmopolitan and creative.
The map is an initiative by the association "Isto não é um Cachimbo" ("This is not a Pipe") in partnership with Lisbon Municipal Council for promotion and distribution through the internal municipal network, and with Turismo de Lisboa (Lisbon Tourist Board).
The maps are free and can be obtained from Lisbon Tourist Board Information Points or online at http://mapadasartes.pt/
