Tagus Marina is a certified Nature Tourism project that aims to pep tourism and raise awareness of the natural beauty of the Tagus Estuary to the public. We rent traditional British river barges without a driver and permanently moored in the estuary of the River Tagus, in the Marina do Parque das Nações, one of Lisbon’s noblest neighborhoods. In addition, we offer maritime-touristic nature tours in modern and comfortable electric boats.

Our charming electric boats carry out various maritime-touristic tours in the Tagus Estuary. Our wide offer enable you to bird watching, to watch the riverside area of Alcochete, Salinas do Samouco, the natural reserve islands or the channel of the Sorraia river on board quiet and silent tours up to a maximum of 10 passengers. Our boats do not emit CO2 or noise, fully respecting the natural habitat of more than a hundred species of birds, and other fauna and flora, typical of this wonderful ecosystem bathed by the salty waters of the estuary. These tours are operated by a driver/guide from Tagus Marina who provides information and draws the attention of passengers to all points of interest.

We have an operational base at the Parque das Nações marina with exclusive and safe access 24 hours a day, totally reserved for our barges and electric boats.
