In the heart of Minho, Casa Lata - Agroturismo is located on a property of about 3.6 hectares, between Braga (10kms) and Peneda Gerês National Park (30kms), in the north of Portugal.

It has 10 double rooms and 4 twin rooms in the main house, as well as a rustic house located next to the vineyard - Casa do Garrafas - with capacity for 8 people (4 adults and 4 children), all with private bathroom, AC, TV channels, free Wi-Fi and free private parking on site. Guests can also enjoy common spaces such as a lounge, which once gave way to the wine cellar, game room, outdoor swimming pool (for adults and children) and numerous green spaces surrounding the house. Throughout the year the fruits are cultivated, such as the famous oranges of Amares, and fruits to make the homemade jams and cakes for breakfast. It has the history of a farm house minhota where its people dedicated themselves to the agriculture, the cattle raising, the vineyard and the wine. As milestones of these activities still exist the granary, the wine press, the alembic and numerous agricultural tools. In this environment of tradition associated with rural life, there is now a modern wine cellar where is produced the famous green wine. On arrival our guests are welcomed with a green of honor, and if they wish to know more about the production of green wine the current owner, Jose Costa, will be happy to make a visit to the winery.
