BRICKOPOLIS LOURINHÃ was officially recognized by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ on April 3rd, 2025, with the title of World’s Largest LEGO® Brick Diorama, covering an area of over 70m². The diorama is part of the permanent exhibition and meticulously recreates places and events from Portuguese history.

Every detail of this diorama was built with hundreds of thousands of bricks, without any internal support structure, and includes over 1,200 minifigures. The creation spans a perimeter of 59 meters and reaches a height of 0.656 meters. To bring this dream to life, several months of planning were followed by more than 850 hours of assembly, involving a dedicated team of 25 people.

This international recognition highlights the importance of the project on both national and international levels and symbolizes the commitment of the BRICKOPOLIS Lourinhã team to creativity, education, and culture.

In its first year, Brickopolis continued to grow and now features new areas entirely dedicated to family fun. The new Brickopolis Playzone is a space where creativity takes shape: with building tables accessible to all ages, a racetrack for the Brickopolis Grand Prix — where visitors can build and race custom cars — and a fun tower sure to delight the little ones. It’s an invitation to imagination and play, in a safe and engaging environment.

Outside, the Brickopolis restaurant offers the perfect spot to recharge. Meanwhile, children can explore a playground of over 220 m² or step into the role of real builders in the digger zone, where the whole family can take part. With these new additions, Brickopolis strengthens its mission to be a complete leisure destination, where every visit is a new opportunity to play, create, and share unforgettable moments.

A visit to Brickopolis will be a unique experience that combines the magic of the world’s most famous toy — in a journey through the imagination of our childhood — with full immersion in a world of color, creativity, and entertainment. This exhibition, located in Lourinhã and composed of approximately 5 million bricks, promises to enchant visitors of all ages and provide a nostalgic trip back to childhood memories.
