Organized by the Parish Council of Santa Bárbara de Nexe, the first Santa Bárbara de Nexe Hiking Festival arrives, between the 7th and 9th of February, inspired by the beautiful landscapes and rich popular culture of the parish of Santa Bárbara de Nexe, in the municipality of Faro.

The very image of the festival represents the cultural nature of the territory, materialized in music, where the accordion stands out, in popular poetry and in the color of the land that has always served as food and sustenance for the inhabitants. It is in honor of this material and intangible heritage that this festival was born, proving that many of these memories and knowledge are still alive.
