From November 29th to December 1st, the Monchique Hiking Festival is back, with water being the central theme.

This event, part of the annual calendar of the Algarve Walking Season, a regional project for the joint promotion of hiking festivals in the Algarve, reflects on the important fact that 71% of the Earth's surface is covered by liquid water. It intends to make a conscious list of the reasons to care for and preserve this natural resource, so that we can continue to enjoy water in its multiple aspects, whether essential, therapeutic or organizational.

You can enjoy a variety of activities, such as sports walks, thematic/cultural walks, family and children's activities, workshops, workshops, theater, yoga and astronomical observation.
