The Grand New Year's Concert is inspired by the traditional musical gathering that is held each year in Vienna, and features a diverse and attractive selection of Strauss's best waltzes, polkas and marches.

The Strauss Festival Orchestra and the Strauss Festival Ballet Ensemble perform well-known titles by the Austrian musician, such as "Napoleon", "Feast of the Flowers", "Klipp Klapp", "The Emperor's Waltz" and "Champagne", not forgetting the most famous waltz of all, the "Blue Danube" and the "Radetzky March".
