The Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra (OML) returns to perform for another season of classical music. Classic and contemporary works, presented in the main room of the Theatre, in a diversified and innovative musical celebration that brings together, in the same space, and on various dates, two emblematic institutions of the city of Lisbon.

On February 24, 2025, the protagonist is Folk. Popular music makes it possible to immediately identify a culture. It is born and flourishes in the vicissitudes of life: celebrations, sorrows and also in the encounter of each one with himself. Many composers who continue the written musical tradition – tending to be more formal and reflective – have always appropriated it, either as a source of inspiration or as a starting point for different flights.
