Until 18 May 2025, the Serralves Museum has the exhibition "Devendra Banhart: Offering Cloud of Scattered Genitalia" on display.

An internationally acclaimed musician, poet and visual artist, he is considered one of the pioneers of the freak folk and New Weird America movements. Parallel to this successful career in the field of music, the artist, who studied at the San Francisco Institute of Arts before dedicating himself to music, began a singular career as a visual artist in the mid-2000s. His works as a visual artist — in particular his drawings — can now be seen for the first time in Portugal in this exhibition, which also includes excerpts from his poetry, revealing Banhart's artistic universe in its entirety.
