Events

Between the 15th of November and the 22nd of December, Rossio, in Lisbon, is filled with light and colour for the traditional Christmas market.

Designed for families, but not only, it has several activities – such as live music, Santa's house, an interesting exhibition of centenary dolls and the exhibition of Christmas Storefronts – but there are also the typical products of the season, such as sweets and other delicacies, and handicrafts for sale in about 70 stalls. One of the highlights of the event is the Christmas Train, which will give rides to Christmas characters, such as elves, and which runs daily through the central streets of the city between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m.
