Joana Gama and Luís Fernandes have been making waves in the Portuguese musical context for 10 years — and beyond. This first decade includes several albums: "Quest, Harmonies", "At the Still Point of the Turning World", "Textures & Lines" and "There's no Knowing", one album after another profusely illuminated by the desire to do new and different. In between, cinema, performing arts or television join, proving the elasticity of a training that nurtures a natural attraction to artistic challenges.

In a time of balance, Joana and Luís symbolically return to the initial moment of their collaboration, working with filmmaker Eduardo Brito, author of the cover of Quest and the first photographs of the duo, and Frederico Rompante, creator of the light designs for all their concerts. Inhabiting this space of dialogue between light and images, we will listen to Strata, the new work by Joana Gama and Luís Fernandes for piano, electronics and multiple layers of sounds collected in different parts of the globe.
