Grândola, vila jazz is back in Alentejo! The 2025 season brings together nine beautiful jazz shows, with excellent musicians and names of reference at national and international level, who will take their place on stage on of Cineteatro Grandolense, with free admission. The program aims to offer the public a comprehensive view of the various generations of jazz, bringing veteran musicians, groups with young musicians or a group of finalist musicians from the Hot Clube school to Grândola. At the same time, it is intended to show a stylistic diversity, within the so-called mainstream Jazz, presenting a repertoire from jazz classics to more contemporary styles.

On February 28th, the Mingus Project, a band led by Nelson Cascais, performs the music of Charles Mingus. The project includes Ricardo Toscano on saxophone, Nelson Cascais on double bass, Victor Zamora on piano, Nemanja Delic on drums and Luís Cunha on trumpet
