Between the 9th and 11th of May, another edition of the Festival of Traditions is back, in Ponte da Barca. Promoted by the Municipality of Ponte da Barca, in collaboration with local folklore associations and groups, it celebrates traditions, gastronomy, handicrafts, dances and regional songs.

This event aims to preserve, value and promote local traditions, and also strengthen the cultural identity and pride of the local community. The program is diverse, from traditional games to exhibitions, highlighting the concert by José Cid, the Costume Parade and the performance of the Kalhambeque group.
