Between the 8th and 13th of August, Alcochete celebrates another edition of the Green Cap and Salinas Festivals. Nationally recognized for their charisma and bullfighting tradition, these Festivities are annually sought after by thousands of visitors attracted by the wild party, faith and tradition.

The festivities preserve in their genesis a religious cult, very strong, and a great passion for bullfighting, consolidated in the tribute to three basic figures: the Campino, the Forcado and the Salineiro. But there are also the Meninas do Barrete Verde and the Night of the Grilled Sardine, among other attractions and "animations" not to be missed.
