Events

The Regueifa and Biscuit Fair and the Nineteenth-Century Market of Valongo take place this year between the 29th of May and the 1st of June. Promoted by the Municipality of Valongo, this is one of the largest events in the country dedicated to baking.

During four days of celebration, visitors can count on concerts, showcookings, exhibitions, plays, historical recreations, handicrafts and lots of gastronomy, with emphasis on the Nucleus of Bakers and Biscuits. The Handicraft Center will operate on Rua de São Mamede, with an exhibition of various pieces, such as leather, wood, wicker, fabrics, metals, glass, clay and paper.
