This year's Coca de Monção Festival, or Corpus Christi Festival, takes place between June 18th and 22nd. These festivities stand out for their perfect communion between the sacred and the profane. The highlight of the celebrations is the solemn procession through the streets of the town, followed by the fight between Coca and São Jorge.
