From July 25 to August 3, Machico is hosting a mouth-watering initiative: Machico Gastronomic Week. The main aim of this initiative by Machico Town Council is to promote regional gastronomy, with an emphasis on the delicacies of this municipality in the east of the island of Madeira.

The event also offers plenty of entertainment, live music concerts and regional and national musical attractions, with lots of snacks and typical seaside food.
