The "Nossa Senhora do Carmo Festivities" – known as the "Moura Festivities" – arrive in this beautiful Alentejo town, as usual, in July!
One of the most important local events, the "Festas de Nossa Senhora do Carmo" every year feature a program full of entertainment and lots of music. Between concerts by ethnographic bands, popular music bands and philharmonic bands, and dance shows, the program includes some names from the Portuguese music scene, who will fill the atmosphere with festivity. There will also be a candlelight procession, horse riding and a classic car ride.
