Casa do Design in Matosinhos is hosting the exhibition "Portuguese Illustration Archive: Transformations and Contemporary Trends", curated by José Saraiva.
This exhibition brings together 84 works and more than 40 artists who aim to document the evolution of national illustration over the last few decades. Some of the artists represented in the collection are: António Jorge Gonçalves, João Vaz de Carvalho, Gémeo Luís, André Carrilho, Daniel Lima, Alain Corbel, Rachel Caiano, José Manuel Saraiva, André Letria, Danuta Wojciehowska, Catarina Sobral, Joana Estrela, Mariana Rio, José Brandão, Emílio Remelhe, André da Loba, Catarina Gomes, Bernardo Carvalho, Jorge Colombo, Mariana, a miserável, among others.
