Considered the Capital of Country Chicken, Oliveira de Frades hosts the Frango do Campo Festival in July.

Here you can feel the authentic taste of tradition, where there is no shortage of gastronomy, obviously, and where the "king" at the table is chicken, cooked in a variety of ways: from barbecue chicken to arroz de cabidela. Fun and music are also present at the festival and this year's edition will feature some of Portugal's must-see names. A festival not to be missed, right in the center of Portugal.
