Events

The São João de Armamar Festivities take place every year in June, in honor of the municipality's patron saint, São João. These festivities are recognized as the biggest cultural events in the Armamar region, in the district of Viseu, and June 24th is a municipal holiday.

In 2025, the festival takes place between June 20 and 24. The entertainment starts on the 20th with concerts by Nuno Ribeiro and Orquestra Magma, followed on the 21st by Némanus and Grupo d'Alma e Corazón. On the 22nd it's Gabriell and The Pirates' turn, followed on the 23rd by Roconorte and DJ Any Dupin, and the festivities end on the 24th with 4Mens.
