Vila Nova de Cerveira once again presents itself as a "very noble" land of notable Ladies and illustrious Knights, through a unique journey to medieval times, with another edition of the History Festival. This year's event is dedicated to the "Viking Age" and takes place between August 14 and 17, in the streets of the historic center.

In addition to the medieval procession, the program also includes a diverse range of theatrical performances, music, royal falconry, juggling and acrobatics, snake demonstrations, oriental dances and crafts, as well as merchants, tavern keepers, artisans and various associations.
