Today, they begin on July 25 with the São Tiago fair and end on the first Sunday in August, with the procession in honor of Nossa Senhora do Amparo being the most important moment for devotees of the patron saint. The entertainment also includes various musical shows, a light march, a night of firecrackers and a fireworks display.
