In August, Trancoso hosts the secular Feira de São Bartolomeu, an event with 751 years of history, created by King Afonso III.

For several days, the town fills with life and excitement, further warming up the summer with a festive atmosphere. Traditional taverns offer delicious regional delicacies, while stalls display and sell quality local products. The program also includes a variety of musical shows, with well-known artists from the national scene, guaranteeing entertainment for all tastes.
