Events

The São Pedro Festivities in Sintra are one of the municipality's most traditional traditions, combining popular culture, regional cuisine and handicrafts. This year they take place between June 19th and 29th.

Organized by the Union of Sintra Parishes, the festivities take place in Largo D. Fernando II, the stage for the festival, with restaurants, taverns, sweets, handicrafts and lots more entertainment. The highlight is São Pedro's Day, on June 29, marked with a Mass and a Solemn Procession, ending with the usual performance by the Os Aliados Philharmonic Society Band.
