Martinho da Vila, known as the king of samba, returns to Portugal to delight fans with his greatest hits.

Born in 1938, Martinho da Vila fell in love with samba from an early age, adopting the name in honor of the famous Vila Isabel samba school in Rio de Janeiro.

With more than 50 albums and 20 books published, Martinho da Vila is an artist in several aspects, being today one of the great composers of Brazilian music and considered one of the greatest names in Brazilian popular music, with dozens of compositions sung by other artists from his country.
