Curated by Joana Valsassina, this exhibition is part of the Serralves Collection's Itinerant Exhibitions Program. It features a diverse range of works by Portuguese and international artists who focus on contemporary urban reality, investigating the physical, economic, social and cultural processes that shape life in the city.

The show features a dense and diverse group of works, echoing the multiplicity of artistic manifestations related to this theme. The artists portray and intervene in the street, evoke the city's visual landscape, recover discarded objects and materials and share creative agency with inhabitants and passers-by.
