The well-known municipal festivities of Arcos de Valdevez are back from the 2th to the 10th of August, promising unique and remarkable moments, with lots of fun for all tastes. You can count on a lot of gastronomy, popular music, raids, challenge singing, river serenade, traditions, religious rituals and many other activities.

Honoring Nossa Senhora da Lapa, these festivities include masses and processions in her honor, but also musical shows, such as the various folkloric groups of the Folklore Festival, and ballet, an ethnographic procession, the Festa das Rusgas, among many other entertainment activities culminating in the long-awaited fireworks.
