Rio Maior hosts one of its most anticipated summer events, FRIMOR - National Onion Fair, which this year lands in this Alentejo town between the 29th of August and the 2nd of September.

In addition to the ceboleiros, gastronomy, handicrafts, the Frimor Fun Park and the agri-food and business exhibition, music is one of the great attractions of this party, which in this edition includes Cláudia Martins & and the Minho Marotos, Nena and David Carreira. There will also be space for DJ sets. With three centuries of existence, this fair was instituted in 1722 by King D. João V, with a very different dimension from the current one.
