In 2025, the Feast of Our Lady of Orada in Albufeira will take place between August 2 and 15. In addition to religious celebrations, such as masses, there will be processions and stage performances in honor of the saint, fireworks and musical performances.

This is one of the most popular religious festivals in the Algarve and a tradition that goes back a long way and marks the life of the local population. Every year it brings together hundreds of people to give thanks and ask for the protection of the Virgin, known for blessing the fishermen of the land, the main occupation of the population until a few decades ago.
