A prominent figure on the European contemporary art scene, her work has received widespread critical and institutional acclaim in recent years, following important exhibitions.

Her artistic practice, in which painting and drawing stand out, but which includes other media such as sculpture, installation, video and photography, explores topics related to her objection to all forms of oppression and reaction to current social and political issues, including gender violence, migratory crises and armed conflicts. Her work is strongly imbued with the motivations, attitudes and discourses that marked the feminist movements of the 1970s and 1980s.
