Events

This is one of the Algarve's most eagerly awaited traditional events, celebrating culture, commerce and conviviality.

Held annually in October at the Fairground, it brings together dozens of exhibitors, artisans and local traders. The public can find regional products, handicrafts, clothes, toys and typical cuisine, creating an atmosphere of celebration and tradition. In addition to the market, there is also space for entertainment, such as carousels and popular music, attracting families and visitors of all ages. The fair keeps Tavira's cultural heritage alive and is an important community and tourist meeting point.
