Events

The São Miguel Fair and Festivities will once again animate the town of Cabeceiras de Basto between September 20th and 30th.

Taking place during the rich agricultural harvest season, this fair, which has a centuries-old tradition, showcases the best of what is produced in the region, bringing out the most genuine traditions, with highlights including the traditional defoliation, horse races, the livestock competition, the oxen arrivals, the garraiada, among many other initiatives. The musical line-up includes some of the biggest names in national music, from different musical genres.
