The exhibition Auto da Barca do Efémero opens at the Soares dos Reis National Museum in Porto. The project is the result of a meeting between the contemporary screen by artist Ana Aragão and the historic Namban screens.

These works dialogue through their formal affinities, but also challenge each other by reflecting the complex intercultural relations between Japan and Portugal, both past and present. The exhibition takes a look at the ephemerality of the encounter between different cultures, through a visual language that crosses time, intersecting history, art and identity.
