São João da Madeira is once again hosting the November Jazz Festival, from November 1 to 22. This year, the festival deepens its commitment to the present and future of national jazz with six unique concerts, characterized by originality and aesthetic diversity.

The festival kicks off with an unprecedented encounter between Bernardo Moreira's sextet and the Espinho Jazz Orchestra, in a heartfelt bow to the genius of Carlos Paredes. The closing show is by one of the most original and promising contemporary projects, Leida, an ensemble of 8 voices that act as a single instrument, at the Oliva Art Center. The event includes other initiatives, such as a photography exhibition, talks and masterclasses.
