This year's Rural Castanea – Chestnut Festival takes place from November 7 to 9, celebrating the quality of chestnuts and the endogenous products of the municipality of Vinhais. Since autumn is synonymous with chestnuts, such a special gastronomic product, this event celebrates them, promoting gastronomy and boosting their production and dissemination.

As well as chestnuts, this event highlights other products such as honey, wine, mushrooms and local handicrafts. Let yourself be enchanted by Vinhais, in an event that makes the most of the precious fall harvests.
