Manuel Lourenço presents a concert inspired by the words that have marked his personal and musical journey. In eight movements, music, texts and poems translate intense experiences, sometimes physical and sensorial, sometimes in the form of dreams or desires.
The Poetry Ensemble performs compositions by Lourenço, with arrangements by himself and Sérgio Rodrigues. Actress Luísa Cruz gives voice to Lusophone authors such as Filipa Leal, José Eduardo Agualusa, Sophia de Mello Breyner, Nuno Júdice and Carlos Drummond de Andrade. The show also features Nicolau Santos, who shares his choices and reflections, fusing music and words in a poetic and cinematic environment.
