Events

The 35th edition of the Montalegre Smoked Meat Fair takes place between the 22rd and 25th of January. Promoted by the Municipality of Montalegre and the Association of Smoked Meat Producers of Terra Fria Barrosã, this event is also known as the "São João das chouriças", and is already a national reference event.

Dedicated to the traditional products of the Barroso region, it promotes a diversified lineup, in a setting marked by landscapes of rare beauty, where you can get to know a variety of local food products, the best gastronomy and lots of entertainment.
