February sees another edition of the Serra da Estrela Cheese Fair. The event takes place in the Seia Municipal Market and its surrounding area, reaffirming the commitment to promoting cheese and the region's endogenous products.

Serra da Estrela cheese will be the star of the fair, representing the vast production sector involving shepherds, traditional cheese factories and manufacturing units. The event will be enriched by the presence of other regional flavors, such as artisan bread, Dão wines, sausages, olive oil and honey. Handicrafts and Serra da Estrela wool will also be present, highlighting the region's cultural identity.

The fair's program includes four days of cultural entertainment, with a strong focus on promoting local traditions and music.
