Ryuichi Sakamoto is one of the most acclaimed composers on the international scene and his music continues to be celebrated, evoking an eclectic range of influences, from traditional Japanese music to the work of classical composers such as Bach, Debussy or Schumann.

In this tribute concert to Sakamoto, a selection of works from the album 1996 will be presented, interpreted according to the original scores, available in a limited and rare edition, supervised and revised by the author himself. The piano, violin and cello trio created by pianist and composer João Vasco is one of the few formations in the world to present the work 1996 in concert.
