"Meu Nome António" is MUDE's new temporary exhibition dedicated to António Variações. It brings together 85 photographs taken between 1981 and 1983 by Teresa Couto Pinto, the artist's friend, agent and photographer.
The images reveal his strong personality, creative freedom, charisma and visual aesthetic, with no post-production or use of artificial intelligence, just analog restoration.
Organized into four sections, the exhibition covers bold visuals, the intimate space of the home, a more dramatic dimension and sessions for the album Give& Receive.
The exhibition runs until April 26, 2026, at the Lisbon museum, celebrating a unique Portuguese artistic legacy.
